Christmas in the Park & Christmas Light Contest

Happy holidays, can you believe it is already almost the end of 2025? A lot has happened in the last 12 months, and the town hall staff are excited to share what has been planned for the most magical time of the year. Some of Santa’s little helpers have reminded us to make a post on our website so no one misses the scoop:

Christmas in the Park will be taking place on December 20^th, Glenwood Park from 5:30 – 8:00 P.M.

A free family event to see the Christmas lights and visit Santa. Free hot dogs, homemade chili, nachos, and hot cocoa will be available for everyone who attends.

A raffle drawing will be held for two BIG prizes. Raffle tickets can be bought at Town Hall or Snyder Auto Parts. You do not have to be present at the event to win!

$1.00 = 1 raffle ticket, $5.00 = 6 raffle tickets

This year we are aiming to give a toy to every child who attends! If you like to help spread Christmas cheer, you can drop off new or lightly used toys to Town Hall.

Finally, Town Hall is hosting a Christmas Light Contest in Mountain Park. The houses with the flashiest Christmas cheer wins!

1^st place Prize: $100.00, 2^nd Place prize: $60.00, 3^rd Place prize: $40.00

Houses will be judged from December 15^th-19^th with winners announced at Christmas in the Park. Don’t forget to call or make a website contact ticket to have your name and address put down as a participant.
